I do this every single year. No exceptions.
"If it's not important, never do it. If it's important, do it every day"
Each December for the past 7 years, I’ve performed a self-audit. An overall assessment of who I am, how I spend my time, what I plan to keep doing, start doing, and what I ought to stop doing.
It’s a recalibration that’s so valuable, it’s difficult to put into words.
Now the exact manner in which I perform this self-audit, I’ll keep to myself.
But this year, in keeping with that tradition and as a way to encourage you guys to do something similar, I’ve created a digital Habit Tracker.
It’s a simple but powerful tool I’ll be using myself, so that I enter into the new year with a tangible plan for how I’m going to cast votes for the person I wish to become. As a husband, a coach, a friend and a human being. To ensure I’m prioritising my health, so I can live life in a way that makes it meaningful.
My hope is it will do the same for you, too.
Because we are the sum of the things we repeatedly do.
Or perhaps, neglect to do.
Let this be a map, guiding us along this winding mountainside path that we call life.
Click here to access it for yourself.
Talk soon,
Michael
PS. If you’re not sure where to start, I’ve been spending a couple hours each week lately holding “Goal Strategy Calls” with followers on Instagram, and readers of this blog. People who in many cases, I’ve never met in my life, but have lent me their trust in helping them build a roadmap to follow into 2026. Consultations like these are usually $120CAD, but this December only, they’re absolutely free if I’ve never worked with you before. If you’d like to book a call, click here and I’ll reach out.
